331-350C APU Serviceable Parts

The 331-350C APU is used on Airbus A330 and A340-200/300 aircraft and in recent years supplying serviceable parts for this APU type has become one of our major product lines.

In December 2019 we purchased our fifth 331-350C for teardown, serial number R-505C

The APU was disassembled at TurbineAero’s workshop in Thailand. The Load Compressor (3804007-14) and Load Gearbox (3805028-7) were kept as modules and are now in stock at Swanaero in serviceable condition. The Power Section was fully disassembled and the serviceable and repaired parts came into our stock in early 2020.

In September 2018 we purchased our fourth ‘-350C for teardown, serial number R-400C previously operated by Air China.

The APU was disassembled at TurbineAero’s workshop in Thailand and serviceable and overhauled parts came into Swanaero stock in early 2019.

Our third 331-350C APU teardown was serial number R-372C and parts from this APU came into stock in April 2018. The APU was previously operated by Thai Airways and was disassembled and inspected at TurbineAero’s workshop in Thailand.

Our second 331-350C teardown took place in mid 2017 when ex-Air France APU serial number R-657C was disassembled and inspected at TurbineAero’s workshop in Thailand. The parts came into stock at Swanaero in October 2017.

We carried out our first 331-350C APU disassembly in 2016 when ex-Cathay Pacific serial number R-504C was used for teardown to parts. The power section of the APU was torn down at the workshop of Dublin Aerospace and serviceable and overhauled LRUs and piece parts came into stock in mid-2016. The Load Compressor and Load Gearbox modules were torn down at Triumph Aviation Services Asia and serviceable parts from these modules came into stock in early 2017.

Examples of the parts we have in stock from R-372C, R-504C and R-657C are listed below, all in stock ready to go with EASA Form 1 / FAA 8130-3.
